CURRICULUM STRUCTURE
CICATA Querétaro is an interdisciplinary academic center that leverages its diversity of expertise to offer flexible, robust, and personalized training schemes aimed at addressing complex real-world problems, supported by a strong academic foundation of excellence.
The core activities of the Curriculum Plan revolve around the development of a project designed to solve a specific need identified by an external organization in collaboration with CICATA Querétaro.
The MAT-IR program requires students to complete 90 academic credits through coursework and project development.
PROGRAM DURATION
The program has a duration of:

Four semesters for full-time students (minimum 40 hours per week)

Six semesters for part-time students (minimum 20 hours per week)
ACADEMIC STRUCTURE
Throughout the four semesters, full-time students are required to complete 12 Learning Units (LUs), distributed as follows:

6 technical-academic LUs, focused on strengthening professional training:

4 core LUs

2 elective LUs related to the student’s thesis project

3 LUs aimed at developing professional skills and competencies

3 follow-up LUs, corresponding to Departmental Seminars I, II, and III
In addition to coursework, students must continuously develop their thesis project, whose progress is evaluated by their Tutorial Committee at the end of each semester.
